"The sport is Cycleball, with the speed of hockey, the contact of football and the accuracy of basketball...all in one sport." Check out the first time this game was brought to the US, back in 1984. A sport that was destined to pique America's intrigue with speed, danger and skill.
We are halfway through winter and the salt is starting to take it's toll. This year my bottom bracket was the first to cry for help. I tried to ignore the snapping and grinding for 2 weeks....then came the fireworks. It was like a string of Black Cats going off in between my crank arms. The sudden loss of chain tension was the grand finale. After breaking the seal of a poorly greased shell with a pipe wrench, the innards of what used to be a sealed cartridge bearing spilled onto the floor.
The life expectancy of a bottom bracket in Milwaukee is usually one year if you are lucky. If one last longer than that....you aren't riding enough.

Looks like Brooks is off to a productive and an exciting start to the New Year. In the fall Brooks hinted they were going to dive into the clothing market under the label, John
Boultbee. For this project they worked with the famous clothing designer, Timothy Everest.
The jacket may look casual, but it is packed with well thought out technical features.
Reinforced shoulders, windproof/waterproof fabric, and thumbholes are
just a few of the details of the jacket.
For more info check out the Brooks Blog.
their new clothing label will not disappoint.
